Marta is an AI-powered platform designed to support fundraising strategy, preparation, and analysis. By using Marta, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with the terms outlined below.
Privacy & Data Protection
Privacy is a core design principle of Marta. Depending on the feature being used, conversations, documents, and voice interactions may be protected by Marta’s Privacy Shield, which is designed to reduce donor-identifying information before AI processing whenever supported. In Text Mode, users can review and edit sanitized content before submission. Privacy Shield Voice adds server-side privacy processing before AI analysis, while Standard Voice communicates directly with the selected AI voice service and does not use Privacy Shield sanitization. Across the platform, Marta also uses data minimization, session isolation, secure transmission, and limited data retention practices to help protect user information.
Privacy protections vary by feature and are described throughout this Privacy & Trust Center. While Marta is designed to minimize the exposure of donor-identifying information whenever possible, no automated privacy system can guarantee the detection or removal of every identifier. Users remain responsible for reviewing information before relying on or sharing AI-generated content.
Responsible Use and Data Input
You are solely responsible for the information you input into Marta. You agree not to upload, submit, or otherwise provide any information that is confidential, legally restricted, or sensitive unless you have the lawful right and appropriate authorization to do so.
Users are strongly encouraged to use anonymized, redacted, or generalized data whenever possible, including removing names, contact details, financial data, or other personally identifiable information.
You agree that your use of Marta complies with all applicable laws, institutional policies, confidentiality obligations, and data governance standards.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Marta uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and recommendations. These outputs are provided for informational and educational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or incomplete reasoning.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and determining the appropriateness of any output before relying on it. Marta does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
Marta does not guarantee outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marta and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform or reliance on its outputs.
Refund Policy
Marta is a subscription-based digital service. Except where required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted. Refund requests may be reviewed at our sole discretion in cases involving billing errors or technical issues.
Subscription and Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew based on the billing terms presented at purchase. You may cancel at any time prior to the next billing cycle to avoid future charges. Cancellation will stop future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for prior charges. To cancel your subscription, go to the “Marta” page and click on the Manage Subscription button.
